Questa settimana ritorna il nostro acclamato Cineforum!
Il Cineforum è un evento in cui vediamo insieme un film Italiano, in lingua originale, con sottotitoli in Inglese e, dopo il film, testeremo quanto avete capito con un quiz sull'applicazione Kahoot! (ricordatevi di scaricarlo)
Con l’avvicinarsi di ricorrenze importanti quali la giornata della disabilità o quella contro la violenza sulle donne abbiamo pensato di proporvi una serie di appuntamenti cinematografici, nelle prossime settimane, per riflettere insieme sui temi vari sociali a seconda della giornata in agenda.
- Abbiamo iniziato Mercoledì 25 Novembre, per la Giornata Internazionale per l'Eliminazione della Violenza sulle Donne, vedendo il film Io ci sono
- Martedì 1 Dicembre, per la Giornata Mondiale contro l'AIDS, vi mostreremo Le fate ignoranti
- Giovedì 3 Dicembre, per la Giornata Internazionale delle Persone con Disabilità, mostreremo invece Mio fratello rincorre i dinosauri
Il prossimo film sarà LE FATE IGNORANTI:
È la storia di Antonia, una dottoressa ultraquarantenne che vive con suo marito Massimo un rapporto apparentemente felice. La sua vita va completamente in pezzi quando, un giorno, l’uomo perde la vita investito da un’automobile ad alta velocità. Il lutto la travolge e sua madre, con la quale ha un legame alquanto problematico, le sta accanto con fare invadente. La sua sofferenza si acuisce quando la donna scopre che in realtà, quello che sembrava un marito tranquillo e abitudinario, aveva una vita parallela con un altro uomo, Michele. A sconvolgerla non è solo che il suo compagno avesse un amante, ma scoprire che, da anni, l’uomo fosse parte di un’intera famiglia.
Piano piano Antonia inizia a frequentare la loro casa e, nonostante sia ben accolta da tutti, fa fatica a sentirsi parte del gruppo, soprattutto perché Michele, in rivalità per l’amore che si sono contesi fino a quel momento, non riesce a creare un legame con lei. Col tempo cominciano ad abbassare entrambi le difese e, eliminate le ostilità, iniziano finalmente a conoscersi. Riusciranno a superare insieme il lutto per Massimo e continuare le loro vite, magari l’uno accanto all’altra?
Il terzo film sarà MIO FRATELLO RINCORRE I DINOSAURI:
Segue la storia di Jack che, fin da piccolo, ha creduto alla tenera bugia che i suoi genitori gli hanno raccontato, ovvero che Gio, suo fratello, fosse un bambino “speciale”, dotato di incredibili superpoteri, come un eroe dei fumetti. Con il passare del tempo Gio, affetto dalla sindrome di Down, per suo fratello diventa un segreto da non svelare. Con questo sentimento nel cuore, trascorre il tempo delle scuole medie. Quando Jack conosce il primo amore, Arianna, la presenza di Gio, con i suoi bizzarri e imprevedibili comportamenti, diventa per lui un fardello tanto pesante da arrivare a negare ad Arianna e ai nuovi amici del liceo l'esistenza di Gio. Ma non si può pretendere di essere amati da qualcuno per come si è, se non si è in grado per primi di amare gli altri accettandone i difetti. Sarà proprio questo l’insegnamento che Jack riceverà da suo fratello grazie a quel suo originale punto di vista sul mondo e riuscirà a farsi travolgere dalla vitalità di Gio comincerà a pensare che è davvero un supereroe.

Our acclaimed Cineforum event will come back this week!
The Cineforum is a kind of event when we watch an Italian movie in Italian language with English subtitles, and after the movie we will test how much you understood with a quiz on the Kahoot! app (remember to download it)
Furthermore, these days will be important because they are dedicated to social themes so we will show you some movies about these themes!
- We've started on Wednesday 25th November, for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, by seeing Io ci sono

The next film will be LE FATE IGNORANTI:
It's the story of Antonia, a doctor over 40 who lives with her husband Massimo in a seemingly happy relationship. Her life is completely shattered when, one day, the man loses his life hit by a high-speed car. Mourning overwhelms her and her mother, with whom she has a rather problematic bond, stands next to her with intrusiveness. Her suffering intensifies when she discovers that, in reality, what seemed like a quiet and habitual husband, she had a parallel life with another man, Michele. What upsets her is not only that her partner had a lover, but discovering that, for years, the man had been part of an entire family. Slowly Antonia begins to attend their home and, despite being well received by everyone, she struggles to feel part of the group, especially because Michele, in rivalry for love that they have contested until that moment, is unable to create a bond with her. Over time they begin to lower both defenses and, once hostilities are eliminated, they finally begin to get to know each other. Will they be able to overcome the mourning for Massimo together and continue their lives, perhaps next to each other?
The third film will be MIO FRATELLO RINCORRE I DINOSAURI:
It follows the story of Jack who, from an early age, believed the tender lie that his parents told him, namely that Gio, his brother, was a "special" child, endowed with incredible superpowers, like a comic book hero. With the passage of time Gio, suffering from Down syndrome, for his brother becomes a secret not to be revealed. With this feeling in his heart, he spends his middle school time. When Jack knows his first love, Arianna, Gio's presence, with his bizarre and unpredictable behaviors, becomes such a heavy burden for him that he goes so far as to deny Arianna and the new friends of the high school the existence of Gio. But you can't expect to be loved by someone the way you are, if you're not able to love others first by accepting their flaws.This will be precisely the teaching that Jack will receive from his brother thanks to his original point of view on the world and he will be able to be overwhelmed by Gio's vitality and he will begin to think that he is really a superhero.
