Per gli spostamenti urbani, la città è fornita di 15 linee di autobus che permettono  di raggiungere tutti i punti principali della città. Inoltre, Parma offre anche delle  linee extraurbane, utili per fare una gita nei piccoli paesi del circondario, dotati  di bellissimi castelli e paesaggi come San Secondo, Fontanellato e Colorno.

Importante è tener conto del fatto che non tutte le linee urbane offrono il servizio  notturno. Quelle che prolungano il servizio anche di notte sono le linee 2, 3, 5, 7,  9, 11 e 21.
