BEWARE OF SCAMS!

Unfortunately, scammers target international students. Never trust "landlords" who ask you to pay via a link sent by email/message (often looking like a fake Airbnb or TripAdvisor page). Real payments on those platforms only happen inside the official website. If they ask for money via Western Union or obscure links, it is a scam.

PRO TIP: Rooms vs Apartments

In Italy, it is standard for students to rent single rooms in shared flats. It is much harder to find a whole apartment to rent with a group of friends. We suggest searching for individual rooms to increase your chances!
