Who we are

ESN-ASSI Parma is a student association that deals with both foreign students who spend a period of study at the University of Parma, and Italian students who want to enrich their university curriculum with a study experience at a European university.

Made up of volunteers, mainly former Erasmus students, ESN-ASSI Parma carries out information, welcome and support activities for foreign students present in Parma, favoring their initial placement, helping them in their relations with the University and encouraging constant partner exchange cultural with Italian students.

ESN-ASSI Parma is also part of two non-profit networks: ESN (Erasmus Student Network) Italy and ESN International; this allows it to coordinate its activities with those of other university associations in Italy and abroad.


What do we do


We are the reference point for foreign students studying at our University. We work alongside them to solve the first problems of this new reality and to ensure that they live their Parma experience to the fullest. We help foreign students to integrate into our city, organizing trips, visits to companies, cultural tours, parties.

If you are a student of the University of Parma, we provide you with the opportunity to get in touch with foreign students who are in our city, giving you the opportunity to learn about new cultures and improve your knowledge of languages.

The ESN-ASSI card, necessary to participate in all the activities organized by our association, is valid for one academic year and entitles you to discounts in shops and local citizens affiliated with ESN-ASSI Parma, as well as guaranteeing the usability of the advantageous conditions stipulated with institutions operating nationally and internationally by ESN Italia and ESN International.


Furthermore, the ownership of our card allows you to take advantage of the agreements stipulated locally by the other associations belonging to E.S.N.
